At Continuum Engineering we have world-class skills in CFD and CMP resulting from advanced graduate and post-graduate training in modelling and simulation of single and multiphase flows with simultaneous heat and mass transport. We have a detailed understanding of the current state-of-the-art in physicochemical models and numerical methods, which enables us to both understate and communicate the degree of physical fidelity of our simulations. We also have an open-source software advantage; our CAD and simulation tool-chain leverages open-source software which reduces our costs substantially below the industry average. We are not encumbered by licensing restrictions which enables us to perform fully transient 3D simulations and modify our solvers to suit customer needs, such as including integrated control and time-evolving constraints.
From traditional computational fluid dynamics to simulations with coupled flow, reaction, heat and mass transport.
Dispersed multiphase flows including fluid/fluid and fluid/solid flows using modern multiphase models.
Interpretation of simulations as part of a collaborative process leveraging the experience and expertise of both the clients and CE personnel.
Using simulations for safe and cost-effective prototyping and screening of new products and processes.
